3. How do we collect information

3.1 Personal data

When you register for the use of our services or sign up to our free giveaways, we will collect and process your personal data, supplied by you, in order to be able to provide our services or giveaways to you. Below is to inform you clearly of what personal data we collect on registration, the purposes for processing, and the lawful basis for processing.

Personal data we collect:

On making enquiries, the data we collect includes Name, Email address, Enquiry and any other information you may choose to provide.

On registration and sign in, the data we collect includes Title, First name, Last name, Email address, Password, Location, Children’s first name, Children’s last name, Children’s gender, Children date of birth, any additional information about your children you provide voluntarily.

On conducting lesson, the data we collect includes video record, audio record, any images uploaded, tracked actions on the whiteboard.

On purchase of products or services, additional transactional data (i.e. your payments) may be collected by our third party payment services e.g. Paypal, please refer to their data policy.

Popup Tutor has no control over such websites and is in no way responsible for the content there. You are advised to read the privacy policy of other websites prior to using them.

11.1 Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity. 

11.2 Popup Tutor does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. Personal data will only be acquired through the registration and sign in process provided by parents and guardian. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

12. Data Retention

12.1 We retain personal data for as long as we reasonably required it for legal or business purposes. When determining data retention periods, we take into consideration applicable laws, contractual obligations and the expectations and requirements of our users. We securely delete or destroy the personal data when we no longer need it after all the necessary consideration.
